Oracle EBS Latest Version
Oracle continuously delivers ongoing innovations for Oracle EBS, eliminating the need for a costly and time-consuming major upgrade.
Oracle EBS Latest Version
Oracle has officially released the latest version of EBS, 12.2.14. As of September 2024, release 12.2.14 is the most recent update in the EBS 12.2 series, which Oracle has consistently delivered annually for over a decade. Since 2018, Oracle has also been providing biannual updates to Enterprise Command Center (ECC) functionality, a crucial component of EBS 12.2.
While EBS 12.2 and ECC 12.2 updates follow parallel release cycles, they are not tightly linked. This means you can apply the latest ECC update—currently ECC V13—to an earlier EBS 12.2 release, such as 12.2.9, without upgrading to 12.2.14. In other words, you can take advantage of the latest ECC enhancements without updating your entire EBS 12.2 system.
Beyond these regular updates, Oracle has reaffirmed its long-term commitment to EBS 12.2. As of April 2024, Oracle has extended Premier Support for EBS 12.2 through 2035. This continues the pattern established five years ago, where Oracle extends the end date for Premier Support by an additional year annually. They refer to this as a “rolling 10+ years” commitment, ensuring at least a decade’s notice before any potential changes to EBS 12.2 Premier Support.
